Program Notes

This work is based off of the concept of the five paragraph essay (intro, three supporting paragraphs, conclusion). The work is based loosely off of a twelve tone row that is introduced in the first movement. Movements two through four then use a snippet of a section of the row to further expand on. The fifth movement works as the conclusion bringing together the row again but also including the variations of movements two through four.
