Program Notes

For Electric Guitar, Double Bass and Percussion, this work was written for the gallery opening of Patrick Duegaw’s painting exhibition of the same name, “Pierced by Dogma”. The work is in nine short movements (one for each painting) with titles for each movement taken from the paintings themselves.

Each movement is performed from score with the exception of parts provided for two of the movements to facilitate page turns. (Parts attached in the back of the score).

This work is meant to be printed and performed from 11×17 sized pages in landscape orientation.
