Program Notes

Women of Vision was written for the First Unitarian Church of Portland and Associate Music Director John Boelling, who invited me to create music to accompany a slideshow featuring images of important women throughout history. I thought the concept was beautiful and wanted to write a piece that would complement the inspirational message of the slides and the quotes by each woman. I am honored to help celebrate these women’s contributions to our society and our culture!
